ClinCheck® computer treatment plan
ClinChecks® of patients of the Proste Zęby Clinic
ClinCheck®, i.e. a computer treatment plan – a simulation of how the teeth move during orthodontic treatment.
A ClinCheck® is prepared for every patient before treatment, for their approval during the first visits to the clinic. Scanning the teeth is safe for health – it is a series of photographs. On this virtual treatment plan, the patient can see exactly how their teeth will straighten, what the individual stages of treatment will be, and how long and how many Invisalign® aligners they will need to wear.
3D imaging is possible using the modern iTERO™ scanner – from the starting position to the final result that will be achieved at the end of treatment. It allows a computer “impression” of the teeth to be taken. At the clinic we do not take traditional impressions with impression material and do not cast plaster models. We work with a digital model of the teeth, which is why the treatment results can be visualised.
The ClinCheck® visualisation shows all the details of the planned treatment:
- Which teeth will have attachments
- Elastics (if they are planned in the treatment)
- How much and between which teeth stripping is planned (if necessary)
Every patient who decides on treatment after the START-UP visit receives their individual ClinCheck® in the Invisalign® app.
Once the patient approves the computer treatment plan, the aligners are ordered. Their production usually takes no more than 10 days after the treatment plan is approved.

Treatment plans integrated with CBCT (computed tomography of the maxilla and mandible)
In complex cases and in patients with periodontal and gum disease, treatment can be designed precisely with additional visualisation of the tooth roots in the bone. This is possible thanks to the integration of Invisalign® treatment plans, i.e. ClinCheck®, with CBCT imaging (computed tomography of the maxilla and mandible). Before treatment, the patient is referred for X-ray imaging and the image is then uploaded to ClinCheck®. The doctor can precisely plan tooth movements so as to keep the root within the existing bone. This significantly increases the safety of treatment and of planning tooth movements.
