Who can use Invisalign® braces?

At the qualification visit you will find out how long straightening your teeth will take

“Until recently, orthodontic treatment was considered mainly for children and teenagers. Today’s modern orthodontics is becoming increasingly popular among adults. Braces no longer look the way they used to, nor do they require such a long time, which is why more adults are deciding to undergo treatment.

In our practice, 80% of patients are adults. Invisalign® orthodontic treatment is ideal for adults. We can choose the areas we want to improve in patients without worrying about bulky or unsightly braces. Our orthodontic team understands patients’ individual needs – both during and after treatment. Whether they want to straighten one crooked tooth and improve their smile, or treat a serious malocclusion, today there is an alternative for them. Our services for adults are designed to improve smiles and self-confidence, starting from the very first appointment.”

Which orthodontic problems can be treated with Invisalign® aligners

Deep bite

A deep bite can lead to gum problems or irritation and/or excessive wear of the lower teeth, and can cause jaw and joint pain.

Open bite

An open bite can cause difficulty or pain when chewing, and even speech defects. It can also lead to more serious problems, such as temporomandibular joint dysfunction.

Crowding

Crowding of the teeth can worsen over time and lead to severely crooked teeth. Other consequences include plaque build-up, tooth decay and an increased risk of gum disease.

Spacing

Problems with tooth spacing and gaps between teeth can cause gum disorders (due to lack of protection by the teeth), the formation of periodontal pockets and an increased risk of periodontal disease.

Underbite

An underbite can prevent the front teeth or molars from functioning normally, which can cause tooth wear. It can also cause jaw and joint pain.

Crossbite

This bite manifests itself as at least one lower tooth overlapping the upper teeth. It can cause tooth wear, gum disease and bone loss.
